BOONE COUNTY CONSERVATION DISTRICT

FEE SCHEDULE

Shelter Reservations:

Reservations are made on a first come, first served, basis. Reservations will be accepted anytime after January 1^st of each year. Reservations can be made, and are needed for groups of 25 or more people, between May 1^st and October 31^st for the shelters listed in the table below. No reservations are available between November 1^st and April 30^th. All shelter reservations require a $50.00 refundable deposit. This deposit is refunded if the shelter area is left in a clean and usable condition. There is an additional deposit of $10.00 required for parties that will involve the use of decorations. Decorations include: balloons, streamers ribbon, piñatas, confetti, banners, or other items that are fixed to posts, walls or tables. No staples, nails, or tacks are allowed to attach decorations – no exceptions. All such items need to be completely removed and properly disposed of to assure the deposit refund.

Community Gardens:

Limited garden space is available on a first come first served basis. Gardens plots are available in two sizes. A full size plot is 20 feet wide and 70 feet long. Gardeners have the option of splitting the plot in half and allowing another person/family the opportunity to have a garden plot. The fee for using the garden plot is $5.00 per month or $20.00 for the entire season..

Other Fees & Waiver of Fees

The District reserves the right to collect additional fees to cover expenses associated with a special use permit request. The District reserves the right to wave or reduce fees for some special use permit requests.
