NELSON FORD
Nelson’s Ford contains an oak savanna and open grassland adjacent to the Kishwaukee River. This area will soon have camping opportunities for the public. A trail system runs through the Conservation Area.. Due to their extremely close proximity, the combined sites of Anderson Woods, Distillery and Nelson’s Ford Conservation areas total more than 540 acres.
