The date has been set for the 2013 Autumn Pioneer Festival.

Set aside Saturday, September 28th, 9am to 5pm and Sunday, September 29th, 10am to 4pm so you don't miss this fun and informative event.

Suggested donation is $5.00 per family.

*Please note that there is no ATM on site!!!*

Travel back to the 1800's for a look at the lifestyles and crafts of the day. Talk to a flint knapper, watch a gunsmith, eat buffalo stew, pioneer fries, sample bean soup and apple butter. Visit the harvest table to purchase fresh vegetables or just wander through the 5 ethnic gardens, the voyagers' encampment, and 2 historic log cabins.
   
   
DIRECTIONS
FROM CHICAGO ON I-90 (Tollway)

FROM N/E MCHENRY COUNTY
Exit on Genoa Road
Take a right on Genoa Road
Continue on Genoa Road which will turn into Bypass 20
Continue on Bypass 20 which will take you around Belvidere
At the fifth stoplight (after exiting the tollway) continue straight and you will then be on Appleton Road
Watch for signs

   Follow Rt. 173 into Boone County
Turn left (south) onto Rt. 76
Turn right on Business 20 (1st stoplight)
Stay on Business 20 it will turn into Appleton Road
Watch for signs
FROM WISCONSIN ON I-90 (tollway)   FROM MILWAUKEE
Exit on State Street
Turn left (east) at lights onto State St. (Business 20)
Follow State Street (Business 20) east until you reach Belvidere (2-3 miles)
At first stoplight in Belvidere turn right (south) onto Appleton Road
Watch for signs

   Take I-43 to Hwy 140 in Clinton, WI
Turn South (left) onto Hwy 140
Hwy 140 turns into Rt. 76 in Illinois
Follow Rt. 76 to Belvidere
Turn right on Business 20 (1st stoplight)
Stay on Business 20 it will turn into Appleton Road
Watch for signs
FROM S/W ROCKFORD ON HIGHWAY 20

   FROM RACINE/KENOSHA
Head east on Highway 20 from 251 or 51/39
Follow Hwy 20 east as it splits off of Hwy 51
Follow Hwy 20 east into Belvidere (3-4 miles)
Exit onto S. Appleton  Road and turn right (north) onto S. Appleton Rd.
Continue north until the road comes to a "T" at a stop sign
Turn left and follow Appleton Road until you see the signs for the parking lot

   Take I-94 to Hwy 173
Take Hwy 173 into S/E Boone County
Turn left (south) onto Rt. 76
Turn right on Business 20 (1st stoplight)
Stay on Business 20 it will turn into Appleton Road
Watch for signs
FROM S/E MCHENRY COUNTY

   
Follow Hwy 20 west into Boone County
Then turn onto or follow signs for Business 20 (Logan Ave.)
Follow Business 20 around Belvidere
As you continue on Business 20 it becomes Appleton Road
Watch for signs at all main intersections
